Real Betis forward, Antony has come out to hail ex-Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag for helping him a lot in the Netherlands and in England. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he was not starting many games when Erik was MUFC manager, he still respected his decision, because he is a coach that will be in his story when his football career is over.
Antony added that he is very grateful to the Dutch manager for their quality conversations.
His words, “Erik ten Hag is a coach I’m very grateful to. He helped me a lot in the Netherlands, and in England too, even though the opportunities didn’t come the way I wanted to. But that’s the coach’s choice, I don’t hold any grudges or anything. On the contrary, I’m very grateful for everything he’s done with me, for all the conversations too. He’s a coach who will certainly be in this story because he helped me a lot.”
