Popular comedian and skitmaker Woli Arole has doubled down on his controversial stance regarding surrogacy. Recall that he recently said that healthy women choosing surrogacy as their preferred childbirth option is wrong.
Reacting to the backlash his stance keeps attracting, Woli revealed that Nigerians should not allow the current generation of women to send the wrong signal to young girls.
According to him, if our women are allowed to continue the wrong trend, teenage girls will start to fancy the idea of using someone else’s womb to have kids when they are old enough.
He added that such a wrong mindset will only derail our future women, and the blessing that comes with carrying your own child with your womb will be gone.
His words, “Whatever thing we are doing naw is sending a signal to the younger generation, teenagers and young mind. Imagine your 17yrs old sister saying ‘When I am married too, I won’t use my womb to have child Oooo’. My body is my choice. All we do and say here is creating a MINDSET.
