Former Miss Nigeria, Ezinne Akudo, has come out to address the long-standing rumours about her marriage to Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Emenike. The 2013 beauty queen recently revealed that she has never met the former Super Eagles striker.
According to her, she actually attended Emenike’s wedding when it happened because his former wife was someone she knew back then, but reports saying that she married the footballer after his divorce are false.
Ezinne added that she never knew the fake rumour would stick the way it did, but the honest truth is that she has never been married or divorced.
Her words, “I’ve actually never addressed that. But I’ve never been married.
No, you’re joking. That’s why I said this answer will shock you. The person in question, I have never met in my life. I’ve seen him because I attended his wedding — his wife was someone I knew,” she said.
It’s gone on for like years now… The first time the story came out, I thought it was a joke. But then it kept popping up. Every few years.
