Inter Miami manager Javier Mascherano has come out to say that he is proud of his players despite their Club World Cup round of 16 loss against Paris Saint-Germain. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though the match turned out to be a bloodbath for his team in the first half, he was pleased with how Inter Miami responded in the second half.

Mascherano added that going 4-0 in the first 45 minutes made it impossible to overturn the result.
His words, “PSG are full and fraught with so many tools. You cannot cover the entire field. I wanted to be on the pitch with my players, supporting them. The message at half-time was that we have to live with this.
It’s difficult when it’s 4-0 and you know you don’t have much chance, you don’t expect to change the result, but it was important to show a good image to people. The players did really well in the second half; they tried to do their best. This is the way we want to play.”
WOW.
