Last Season Was A Mistake For MUFC – Yoro

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has said that the team will be out for revenge next season. He recently revealed that the coming season season will be different to last year’s disappointing campaign.

Speaking during an interview with the press, Yoro shared that last season was clearly a mistake that needs to be corrected as soon as possible.

According to him, finishing 15th in the EPL was something out of the ordinary for the Red Devils, and poor performances like that cannot be repeated by the players.

The CB stated that every MUFC player must always have the mindset of delivering his best performance consistently.

“When you play for Manchester United, you need to have the mindset of being the best version of yourself.

I think what we did last season was a mistake for us. When you’re Manchester United, you cannot be at this position. The fans know it, everyone knows it. I think we understand this.

This season will be different for us. It will be like a revenge from last season. We need to do better,” he said.

Revealing that a lot of people want the club to fail, the Frenchman noted that there are also lots of fans who crave for MUFC’s success.

Yoro concluded by saying that the players are cannot listen to external noise because they are more focused on improving ther performances and results.

“We are a big club. There are a lot of people that want us to fail and we know that. But there are also a lot of people that want us to do it, to do great things. We just focus on the fans, you know.

We don’t care about what they say outside, about the media, everyone said bulls— about us last year.

But I understand because we didn’t do really well. This season will be different, I hope for us. We don’t need to listen to this and just be focused on ourselves,” he added.
