Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has likened the APC-led federal government to a cancer that needs to be removed in 2027.
Lamido made this statement while appearing on Arise Television’s Prime Time, advising the ADC-backed opposition coalition to slow down and focus on strategies that would enable them to oust the APC.
He described the ADC as being full of sprinters, urging them to look inward, connect with people quietly, and adopt a more profound approach to addressing issues.
Lamido also stated that he can’t leave a big party for a small one, explaining his decision to remain in the PDP despite the ADC’s growing presence with high-ranking politicians from across the country.
The ADC has vowed to ensure President Bola Tinubu-led APC doesn’t return to power in 2027, amid its latest leadership crisis.
