Grammy-winning singer Ciara has opened up on how she was able to juggle her music career and motherhood. Recall that she recently released her new album titled “CiCi,” and fans have been reacting.
Speaking during an interview with Us Weekly, the singer revealed that giving birth to two kids while making her latest album is simply unbelievable.
According to her, even though her life as a mother and singer was hectic and chaotic for a while, she saw it as good chaos because it pushed her beyond her limits.
She stated that amid all of the stress that came with playing 2 roles at the same time, she managed to go on tour.
“When I reflected back on the journey, I couldn’t believe I gave birth to two of my precious babies Win and Amora all while making this album.
I was also fortunate enough to go on tour during this time as well. Honestly, life couldn’t have been more hectic and somewhat chaotic. If I must say I call it a good chaos though,” she said.
Emphasising that she tries as much as possible to be kind to herself while she multitasks, Ciara noted that she won’t trade the experience for anything else.
The dancer concluded by saying that she feels lucky to be able to do the things she loves simultaneously.
“I’ve been embracing myself every step of the way, giving myself grace when needed, because it’s definitely been a lot going on.
But if I must say there’s nothing better than having your cup full of all the things that you want, desire and dream of. This chapter has definitely been a reflection of that,” she added.
Ciara’s eighth studio album, titled “CiCi,” dropped on Friday, August 22, and it is her first in six years.
The songstress celebrated the album’s release with a takeover of the Red Lobster in Times Square, New York City.
