A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of Gerawa Group of Companies, Alhaji Isa Gerawa, has declared that Jigawa State will remain firmly under APC control in the 2027 general elections.
Gerawa made the remarks while addressing party supporters at the Ringim Government House, where he praised the achievements of the APC-led administration in the state.
According to him, the ruling party has recorded significant developmental strides since coming into power, making Jigawa a model for other states.

“The state has now become a reference point among its peers, with many copying directly to replicate it in their various states,” he stated.
Gerawa argued that the APC’s performance had weakened the opposition, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He noted that thousands of their supporters were continually defecting to the APC, leaving the opposition in disarray.
He advised rival parties to “stay away and stop wasting their time,” insisting that Jigawa is firmly an APC state.
The business mogul also pledged his commitment to the success of Governor Umar Namadi’s administration and expressed confidence in the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
“We will do anything possible to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi in the coming 2027 elections,” Gerawa assured.
He further urged APC members to remain united and dedicated to sustaining the party’s achievements, stressing that collective support would guarantee continued victory for the ruling party.
