The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has ridiculed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Anambra election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, over what it described as his “serial indebtedness” and repeated public embarrassments.
National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, in a statement on Monday, said Ukachukwu’s latest ordeal at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, further exposed what he termed a lack of integrity.
Obigwe noted that Ukachukwu was recently confronted by his business partners at the hotel, who accused him of owing them huge sums of money while simultaneously seeking to govern Anambra State.

“This is the second time in recent months that Ukachukwu has been disgraced publicly by those he is owing. In a video, his business partners boldly told him he cannot be running for governor while still owing people,” Obigwe said.
He added: “For his business partners to block him and his family at Transcorp Hilton, it means their patience has been exhausted. Ukachukwu is a mistake the Anambra electorate must avoid like a leper
He has nothing to offer the people. His only interest is to use Anambra’s resources to offset his huge debts. God forbid bad things.”
The APGA spokesman recalled an earlier incident in which a man went stark naked in front of Ukachukwu’s residence, demanding repayment of his money while raining curses on the APC candidate.
According to Obigwe, the repeated scandals trailing Ukachukwu show that he is unfit to lead Anambra State, urging voters to reject him at the November 8 poll.
