Messi Sent Me A Personal Message After My Ballon d’Or Win – Dembele

PSG forward Ousmane Dembele has confirmed that he received a personal message from Lionel Messi after his Ballon d’Or win. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, while he also received congratulatory messages from Xavi Hernandez, Luis Suarez, Hakimi and the likes, Messi‘s heartfelt message struck him especially.

Dembele added that he was very pleased to see that many professional footballers were genuinely happy for him.

His words, “A message that particularly struck me? It was Lionel Messi. He sent me a direct message. There was Xavi Hernandez (his former coach at FC Barcelona). A lot of (former Barça players).
