Popular singer Selena Gomez has said that people should leave Hailey Bieber alone. This comes after Hailey said she is tired of fans comparing their beauty brands because she is not competing with anyone.
Revealing that she is inspired by every brand via her Instastories, Selena shared that Justin Bieber‘s wife is allowed to say whatever she wants.
According to her, Hailey’s comments do not affect her in any way because there is room for as many brands as possible in the beauty world.
Urging the trolls to be kind to her ex’s wife, she stressed that the backlash should stop once and for all.
“Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn’t affect my life whatsoever. It’s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop,” she wrote.
Reacting, popular blogger Perez Hilton disclosed that Selena’s reaction showed that she knew Hailey only used her name to be in the news.
He concluded by saying that Gomez wants her fans to kill her “haters” with kindness amid all of the back and forth.
“Oh, this is the definition of wanting your fans to kill em with kindness… while also seemingly clocking Hailey here! Did anyone else get the vibe she also called out the businesswoman for using her name for relevancy? Hmm,” Perez wrote.
The drama unfolded after the comments Hailey made during her recent WSJ interview, during which she decried women being pitted against each other regularly.
Stressing that she doesn’t “feel competitive with people that I’m not inspired by,” the model maintained that there will always be room for anyone.
