Popular singer Yemi Alade has said that the entertainment industry is a very isolating space. She recently revealed the hidden emotional toll of fame, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, despite the glitz and glamour that fans get to see on a daily basis, many artists actually endure profound loneliness in silence.
Admitting that the industry itself fosters isolation, the “Johnny” crooner added that she refuses to let her personal life mirror that emptiness.
Her words, “This industry is already a lonely place. I’m not about to live my actual life lonely.”
On a potential collaboration with her colleagues like Tiwa Savage, Yemi indicated a preference for peace, stressing that she would rather avoid unnecessary conflict altogether.
