Popular rapper A$AP Rocky has said that becoming a father to a daughter is absolutely beautiful. He recently described having a daughter as heaven on earth, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking with ELLE at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City, he discussed fatherhood and reacted to winning the Fashion Icon Award, previously won by Rihanna in 2014.
According to him, life has been great since their daughter came into their lives, and he can only thank God for a very successful childbirth experience for Rihanna.
Describing himself as the latest member of the girl dad community, Rocky shared that he is very pleased with his new role.
“Thank you, Lord, that we had a very successful birth. I’m in heaven right now. Life is great. Yo, I wanna just say this to all the girl dads out there: I’m the newest member of the club, you know what I’m saying? Salute me, and welcome me,” he said.
The lyricist further noted that he is proud of his growth as an artist, stressing that his previous “rock star” identity had “no longevity.”
A$AP Rocky concluded by saying that being a girl dad is the main reason for his glow nowadays.
“Yo, being a girl dad is amazing. I mean, check me out. I’m glowing,” he added.
The couple are also parents to sons RZA Athelston and Riot Rose, born in 2022 and 2023.
