Popular comedian Bovi has said that 2face Idibia is the only celebrity who has managed to skip divorce and enter another marriage. He recently had his say at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) Globe Awards, and fans have been reacting.
Cracking the audience up in usual fashion, Bovi pointed out to his co-host, Venita Akpofure, that 2baba has done what no man has ever done before in recorded history.
According to him, 2face Idibia deserves everyone’s respect for managing to avoid the waiting period between divorce and remarriage.
The host stated that he can only wish the singer well because happiness is all that matters in marriage.
“Happiness is what matters, ladies and gentlemen. Some people like to announce it, some don’t. Buchi jumped out of marriage, and nobody knew.
Tuface is the only man who left one marriage for the next marriage, skipping the divorce process,” he said.
The actor was right to say that several celebrities have been involved in divorce drama in recent times.
Recall that news of the separation of comedian Basketmouth and his wife, Elsie, was reported in late 2022.
Basketmouth made the announcement on his official Instagram page on Thursday, saying the decision to part ways with his wife was difficult for them but unavoidable.
That same year, reports broke that another comedian, Buchi and his wife had decided to go their separate ways, with his wife moving out of their matrimonial home.
