Popular celebrity Jennifer Hudson has celebrated her Grammy nomination. Recall that her holiday album, “The Gift Of Love,” was recently nominated for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
Speaking in the press room at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Jennifer expressed her happiness at clinching her 9th Grammy nomination and her first in the “Pop Album” category.

According to her, she feels so blessed to clinch her latest nomination because being a holiday fanatic makes the album recognition so special.
She stated that the fact that it happened on her late mum’s birthday made it even more memorable.
“I’m still living a dream, it’s blessed me. I’m a holiday fanatic, so to be able to be acknowledged in that way with the album … that is just so dear to my heart, is beyond a dream.
And it was on my late mother’s birthday as well, which made it even more special.
The Gift of Love is a project that was done with heart.
It’s always an honor to be here, to sing and to pay tribute to all the greats and the legends. My life is like a whole dream to be able to do that,” she said.
Jennifer’s mother, Darnell Donerson, was killed in October 2008 in a fatal shooting in Chicago.
Hudson’s brother-in-law at the time, William Balfour, was the gunman who killed her mother, her brother Jason Hudson and her 7-year-old nephew Julian, the son of his estranged wife, Hudson’s sister Julia.
Balfour is currently serving life in prison for the cruel murders.
