Popular singer Marcus Mumford has said that Taylor Swift is an awesome guest. He recently gave Swift a positive guest review after she recorded parts of her 2020 album “Evermore” at his home studio in the U.K.
Speaking on a new episode of the Table Manners Podcast, Mumford recalled how he received a call from producer Aaron Dessner asking if he had a discreet home studio space available for use.

According to him, he had no reservations about the request because he trusted who it was coming from, but he did not expect to watch Swift record at his house.
Mumford stated that the singer ended up being a terrific house guest, and the recording happened just as the COVID period was ending
“I was like, ‘Cool. Well, if it’s one of your homies, then I’m sure it’ll be fine. Like, what if it’s Beyoncé or something?’
And it was Taylor f——- Swift. And she came down right at the end of COVID, and was the most phenomenal house guest, burned a lot of vegetables for her, and she brought a killer candle, actually,” he said.
Marcus further noted that Taylor Swift finished recording the second half of her “Evermore” album at his place.
Mumford concluded by saying that he contributed by delivering background harmonies on one of her songs titled “Cowboy Like Me.”
“She did. Her candle game was excellent. And she finished the second half of evermore in our studio.”
And then she asked me to sing along and I said, ‘yes,’ ” he added.
