Popular Hollywood actor George Clooney has come out to reflect on how differently his career could have panned out. He recently shared how he desired to break out of his usual TV roles to become a serious film actor.
Speaking during an interview with The Sunday Times, Clooney said that he got really upset when he found out that Brad Pitt landed the huge role as J.D. in 1991’s “Thelma & Louise” ahead of him.

According to him, despite getting to the final test for a role in the Ridley Scott-directed film, he found out that Brad was the preferred choice.
George stated that he was so angry and envious that he could not even watch “Thelma & Louise” for many years.
“I got to the final test for a role in Thelma & Louise.
And, motherf——, Brad got it.
I didn’t watch Thelma & Louise for years because I was annoyed.
The part launched his career in film. He was doing sitcoms and crap before, so when it was the thing that could’ve launched me? F—!” he said.
Reminiscing about how he and Brad Pitt have gone on to become longtime friends since then, Clooney admitted that his buddy was the right choice for the role.
George concluded by saying that he immediately realized that his friend was perfect for the movie when he finally watched it.
“He gives me s– But, of course, when I saw it, I was like, ‘Well, it had to be that guy.'” he added.
