Former BBNaija housemate Liquorose has shared how she came up with her stage name. She recently opened up about her career and personal dreams, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking during an interview on the Off the Top podcast with VJ Adams, Liquorose said that her name is a combination of the words Liquor and her real name, Rosaline.
According to him, the fact that she likes drinking Liquor, despite being a shy person, made the name ideal, because her mum always told her that alcohol is never shy.
“I picked Liquorose on December 31, 2012. I drink like liquor, and my name is Rosaline.
I’m a very shy person, too. My mum says in her language, Alcohol is never shy,” she said.
The reality star further admitted that her busy schedule keeps her away from home more than she would like.
Liquorose concluded by saying that she misses her family from time to time because they all share the best stories when they’re all together.
“I don’t go home often, it’s bad. I miss my home, I miss my bed. We are very close in my family; we know how to make each other laugh and share stories.
The last time I was in the hood was last year because I do charity stuff every December,” she added.
