Nollywood actress Stella Damascus has paid an emotional tribute to her late husband Jaiye Aboderin, 21 years after his death. She recently joined their two daughters to receive his posthumous award at the AMAN Awards.
Sharing a clip from the ceremony on Instagram, Stella captured her daughters delivering a speech on stage as they accepted the honour on behalf of their father.

According to her, even though her late hubby has been gone for more than two decades, his family will keep doing everything possible to keep his legacy alive.
The moviestar stated that late Jaiye Aboderin will definitely be proud of how their girls have turned out.
“21 years later, and we will continue to keep your legacy alive. I know you’d be so proud of how the girls have turned out. I give all glory to God because He genuinely gave us two amazing, beautiful, intelligent, and supportive girls. Jaiyejeje Aboderin, we love you forever, and we miss you so much.
May his soul continue to rest in peace. Thank you to @amanawards for honoring him with this posthumous award,” she wrote.
In the video, Stella was seen exchanging greetings with notable personalities, including Bovi, Obi Cubana, Ali Baba, Frederick Leonard and Don Jazzy at the event.
Jaiye, a singer, businessman and co-founder of the band Synergy, died suddenly on December 3, 2004, at age 33, after collapsing during a basketball game.
His death had a profound effect on Stella and their daughters, Angelica and Isabel, who have continued to honour his legacy over the years.
