Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato has come out to praise new coach Liam Rosenior. This comes after the Blues thumped Charlton 5-1 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it is obvious that Rosenior‘s style of football suits the Chelsea squad, and he is pleased to have scored his first goal for the club in the FA Cup.

Hato added that he and his teammates interpreted Rosenior’s ideas on the pitch against Charlton.
His words, “We knew it was going to be a difficult game here away at Charlton but I think we did a good job. We created a lot of chances, didn’t give much away, only one goal but we did well.
I was actually surprised that I hit it so that’s why I didn’t celebrate it, but very happy with my first goal for Chelsea and it’s a nice way to do it. I knew it was in.
I like these games. I like to fight, a lot of duels, today was a game like this so it was nice. It was a good game for me and a good game for the team.
He has his own way to play football and I think it is a good way and it suits us. We had a lot of meetings with him to try to explain how he wants to play because it was a short time and I think today we showed what he wanted.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
