Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said President Bola Tinubu will not sacrifice the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, amid the lingering political crisis in the state.
Fayose made the assertion on Tuesday while speaking on ARISE News, noting that the resolution of the Rivers political crisis lies with the principal actors involved.
According to him, anyone who refuses to humble himself and seek peace would continue to “run helter-skelter,” adding that solutions to the crisis are within the reach of those concerned.

“He needs help. When you don’t praise God and you refuse to humble yourself and look for peace, you will just be running helter-skelter. What he is looking for is inside his pocket,” Fayose said.
Addressing Nigerians, the former governor stressed that, based on his understanding of President Tinubu’s leadership style, the President would not abandon Wike in favour of Governor Fubara.
“Let me say this to Nigerians, the President that I know will not get rid of a Wike for a Fubara,” he stated.
