Former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), barely 24 hours after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Suswam completed his registration as an APC member on Wednesday at his Mbagber Council Ward in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State, marking his first official activity in the ruling party.
InfoStride News reports that the former governor formally exited the PDP earlier on Wednesday.

Suswam had cited the protracted internal crisis within the opposition party as the reason for his decision to resign his membership.
His defection adds to the growing list of high-profile politicians who have left the PDP amid lingering leadership and factional disputes within the party.
