Tottenham legend Ossie Ardiles has conceded that the club is almost in big trouble this season. This comes as the threat of a shock relegation looms for Spurs, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, total unity is required to halt Tottenham‘s dangerous slide into the relegation zone, so he needs everyone who cares about the club to get behind the team.
Ardiles added that mounting panic over the club’s top-flight status is very much justified at this stage.
His words, “Our job, everybody at the club, my job and the job of everybody in Tottenham is to go behind the team. We are OK right now but we could be in big, big trouble. So, everybody has to be together to achieve what we want to achieve. Survive this season and then we’ll see what happens next.”
