The Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF) has acknowledged CAF’s Appeal Board ruling following the disputed AFCON 2025 final. The AFCON 2025 host recently had its say via a press statement on its official website, and fans have been reacting.
According to Morocco, its appeal was aimed at ensuring proper application of competition rules in Africa, and it never intended to dispute the sporting merit of any team.
FRMF concluded by commending all participating nations, stressing that the tournament is significant for African football development.
It read, “The Federation reiterates that its approach has always been grounded in respect for the rules and stability of African competitions.”
