Governor Caleb Mutfwang has approved the immediate dismissal of six political appointees in a move aimed at enhancing governance and improving service delivery in the state.
The decision was conveyed in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Samuel Jatau, who said the action forms part of efforts to reposition the administration for greater efficiency and alignment with its policy priorities.

Those affected by the dismissal are Timothy Golu, Gwottson Fom, Nanbol Rimvyat, Nannim Langyi, Paul Datugum and Nimchak Rims, all of whom held various liaison and advisory positions.
In a related development, the governor also approved the suspension of the Chairman of the Plateau State House of Assembly Service Commission, Johnbull Shakarau, over allegations of misconduct.
The suspension, according to the statement, will remain in effect pending the outcome of further investigations.
The state government expressed appreciation to the affected officials for their services and directed them to immediately return all government property in their possession.
