A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has alleged that the security crisis in Nigeria is man-made.
Igbokwe made the claim in a post on his official Facebook page, where he accused some Nigerian politicians of sponsoring acts of violence for selfish political interests.
According to him, certain political actors resort to instigating unrest after losing elections in a bid to gain advantage.

“The so-called insecurity in Nigeria is man made. When criminals lose elections, they sponsor uneducated street urchins to create insecurity to score cheap political points,” he said.
He, however, expressed optimism that those allegedly plotting to destabilise the country would not succeed.
“Evil cannot triumph over good. They will fail,” Igbokwe added.
