The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday hosted delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Rivers State at his residence in Abuja.
Those in attendance included the APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), Victor Giadom, senators, members of the House of Representatives, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, state lawmakers, and other senior party leaders from Rivers State.
The meeting comes days after the APC South-South Zonal Congress held on Wednesday in Asaba.
At the congress, Giadom was re-elected as National Vice Chairman (South-South), while Samuel Nwanosike emerged as the party’s South-South Zonal Publicity Secretary.
