The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has released its provisional timetable and schedule of activities for primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ejimofor Opara.
According to the statement, the timetable is in compliance with the revised schedule of activities released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on February 26, 2026, and in line with the party’s constitution and the Electoral Act 2026.

The party also announced fees for expression of interest forms for various elective positions. It fixed the presidential form at N25 million, Senate at N6 million, House of Representatives at N4 million, governorship at N10 million, and State House of Assembly at N2 million.
APGA stated that the sale and return of expression of interest forms will run from April 20 to May 8, 2026.
Screening of aspirants is scheduled for May 11 for National Assembly hopefuls, May 12 for State House of Assembly aspirants, and May 13 for governorship candidates.
The party added that the sale and return of nomination forms will take place from May 14 to May 21, 2026.
It recalled that during its South-East regional convention held in Awka, the party resolved to separate the sale of expression of interest forms from nomination forms, with only screened and eligible aspirants permitted to purchase nomination forms.
According to the timetable, all primary elections will be conducted on May 23, 2026, using the Option A4 voting method, while appeals arising from the primaries will be handled on May 28, 2026.
