The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Kabiru Tanimu Turaki-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed reports alleging that some of the party’s candidates are planning legal action against the party’s leadership.
The party described the reports as false and misleading.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the PDP’s Interim National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong.

The party also announced that its suit seeking an order compelling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise its Interim National Working Committee (NWC) has been adjourned for judgment.
According to the statement, the matter came up for hearing on Tuesday, during which counsel to all the parties adopted their respective court processes before the court.
The PDP said it is awaiting the court’s judgment on the matter while reiterating its confidence in the judicial process.
