The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled Abba John Abba as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 Benue State governorship election.
Abba was presented by the party as the running mate to its governorship candidate as the party intensifies preparations for the forthcoming election.
The unveiling is part of the ADC’s efforts to strengthen its political structure and campaign ahead of the 2027 poll.
The party said the choice of Abba was aimed at enhancing its chances in the election and presenting voters with an alternative political platform.
The development comes as political parties across Benue State begin to consolidate their structures and mobilise supporters ahead of the 2027 general elections.
ADC is expected to commence wider consultations and engagements with stakeholders as it works to build support for its governorship ticket.
The party urged its members and supporters to remain united and committed as preparations for the election gather momentum.
