Tijjani Reijnders’ father, Martin, has shed light on the real reasons behind the midfielder’s controversial transfer from Manchester City to Al Qadsiah. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Admitting that massive financial rewards played a part in his son’s decision to move, he explained that steep valuation demands from Europe aided the transfer.

Martin added that Manchester City demanded a substantial transfer fee that no interested European club was willing or able to pay.
His words, “Tijjani simply couldn’t go just anywhere.
Money only became a factor when two sporting choices remained.”
