President Bola Tinubu has appointed the Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, rtd, as Secretary of his campaign team for the 2027 presidential election.
The appointment forms part of efforts to strengthen the campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Badaru is expected to work with other members of the campaign team in coordinating activities and mobilising support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The development comes as the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, continues to put structures in place for the 2027 presidential campaign.
The campaign team is expected to coordinate the President’s nationwide political activities and engage various stakeholders ahead of the election.
