Barcola Will Struggle To Displace In-Form Gakpo – Carragher

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has said that new signing Bradley Barcola will struggle to break into Iraola’s starting XI. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

Highlighting Cody Gakpo‘s sensational display against Ipswich Town, Carragher took to social media to express his concerns regarding the Frenchman’s immediate prospects at Liverpool.

He bluntly wrote on X, “Barcola is going to struggle to get a game with this version of Gakpo.”

Iraola added, “I have no doubt with Cody. He has been very good all the pre-season, has started very well this season, producing numbers.

Cody knows how much we value him, I think there is no doubt. I rate him very highly.”
