Popular singer Spyro has opened up about a major mistake he made early in his music career. He recently regretted signing a record deal without properly reviewing the contract.
Explaining that he was persuaded to sign with the label because the person behind it had previously signed Wizkid, Spyro revealed that the promise that the deal would turn him into a superstar was false.
Realizing his mistake down the line, the “Who’s Your Guy?” crooner added that he was lucky to escape the slave deal after 4 years.
His words, “I signed to a label without properly reading the contract because the person had previously signed Wizkid.
He said he was going to make me a superstar.
I realized I had made a big mistake, but thankfully, he was lenient and let me go after 4 years.”
