Praising the teenager’s amazing form since the season started, Flick stated that it is his duty to keep Yamal happy and firing for the rest of the campaign.
Stressing the need to manage the Spaniard’s minutes, the German manager added that the youngster has to keep enjoying his football.

We have to manage his minutes, but the important thing is that he enjoys playing.
That’s how things are at the moment and I don’t want to interrupt that.
