Mozambique have unveiled a 23-man squad for next year’s Orange African Nations Championship (CHAN) billed from 11 January to 1 February, in South Africa.
Coach Joao Chissano has gone for a blend of youth and experience for the Mambas’ maiden participation at the tournament designed exclusively for footballers playing in their domestic leagues.
Veteran defender Dario Khan, Miro, Gabito and Alvarito are amongst the experienced players in the Mozambican squad expected to team up with youngsters such as Maninho and Diogo to aid their quest of a better outing.
