Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho needed a minute to open his Premier League account on Saturday and help Manchester City continue their perfect start.
The Nigeria international, an 89th minute substitute for Ivoirian Wilfried Bony, tapped home the match-winner to salvage a 1-0 win for Man City away to Crystal Palace.
The win was the 11th on the trot for coach Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who have recorded maximum points from five matches this season.
The 18-year-old told Sky Sports: “I said to myself, ‘if I go in I will do what he (Pellegrini) asked me’. I scored a great goal so I am really happy”
Iheanacho also scores twice in five matches in the pre-season.
