The Hon. Nafiu Bala-led faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to restore the integrity and glory of the party, accusing certain politicians of infiltrating its ranks to sow confusion.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday, Bala alleged that some individuals who have not formally joined the party are parading themselves as its leaders, warning that such elements have no place in the ADC.
He lamented that their activities have disrupted the once peaceful structure of the party, which Nigerians had expected to play a leading role in the opposition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“[We are] working assiduously, leaving no stone unturned, in restoring the glory of the party hitherto infiltrated by political vagabonds who sneaked into the party through the back door,” Bala said.
He accused the infiltrators of attempting to impose an unrecognised leadership on the ADC, describing their actions as an affront to the party’s core values and internal democracy.
“We wish to make it clear that these elements who parade themselves as party members without registration should forthwith desist from tampering with the hitherto peaceful ADC structure,” he warned.
Bala further advised that anyone genuinely interested in joining the ADC must follow the proper procedures by registering at the ward level in accordance with the party’s constitution and regulations.
