Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) remains the only party capable of salvaging Nigeria.
Atiku made the statement on Thursday while campaigning for Dr Moses Paul, the ADC chairmanship candidate for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), ahead of the February 21 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Local Council elections.
The former presidential candidate said he joined the campaign trail in Apo Wasa, describing Dr Paul, popularly known as Dr Mo, as a candidate young people in Abuja can relate to and trust.

“This morning, I gladly joined the campaign trail of Dr Moses Paul (Dr Mo), the ADC AMAC Chairmanship Candidate in the February 21 FCT Local Council elections. Our first port of call was Apo Wasa,” Atiku said.
“Dr Mo is the kind of Nigerian young people in Abuja can relate to and trust with the future of the Municipal Council.”
Atiku urged voters in the FCT, particularly in AMAC, to support all ADC candidates in the upcoming elections.
“I encourage FCT voters, including those in AMAC, to vote for all ADC candidates in these elections. This would be the first step towards ousting the failed APC government.
“ADC is undoubtedly the party that will salvage Nigeria, and the surest bet is to start with Dr Mo and AMAC,” he stated.
