The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called for a transparent and inclusive approach in the ongoing coalition efforts among political stakeholders, vowing to resist any attempt to hijack the process for selfish interests.
In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Chief Ralphs Nwosu, the party warned that entrenched interests who have long benefited from cornering public resources may attempt to derail the coalition’s mission to rescue Nigeria.
âOur platform will not be hijacked against the interest of the people,â the statement declared.

âWe caution all participants to remain vigilant, as we will resist any attempt to scuttle the movementâs goals.â
Chief Nwosu disclosed that the ADC plans to convene a meeting of all coalition partners to address emerging issues and strategies aimed at liberating the country from the clutches of nepotism, hunger, impunity, corruption, insecurity, insurgency, and poor governance.
He emphasized that the ADC is not aligning with the coalition for “business as usual” politics, but rather as a national force for real change.
âPolitical ideology and a genuine vision of nationhood must go beyond mere slogans and entitlement mindsets typified by the âit is my turnâ narrative,â Nwosu stated.
He described Nigeriaâs current state as a national emergency requiring unity and decisive collective action.
Nwosu also revealed that the party is witnessing an influx of new members from various political backgrounds, including politically unaffiliated Nigerians, signaling growing momentum for the coalitionâs cause.
