The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has formally welcomed the publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, into the party.
The party made this known in a statement posted on its verified X handle on Friday.
InfoStride News reports that Momodu on Thursday officially joined the opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Shortly after announcing his defection in Benin City, the Edo State capital, while addressing his supporters, Momodu said his decision was driven by a desire to promote the interests of the people, stressing that he was not seeking any elective office in the state.
Reacting to his entry into the party, the ADC expressed satisfaction with the development, describing it as a positive step for the party.
“We are delighted to officially welcome the Publisher of Ovation International and former presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party, Dele Momodu, to the ADC. You made the right choice,” the party said.
