The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has appealed to Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi to join its ranks ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in his ability to provide effective representation for the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadigbo Federal Constituency.
ADC stakeholders from Okpokwu Local Government Area made the call during a courtesy visit over the weekend, pledging to mobilise grassroots support for Ejembi’s political aspirations.
Leading the delegation, Hon. Peter Abba, Chairman of the Edumoga Ehaja Central Working Committee, said the party’s philosophy and principles align with Ejembi’s vision for inclusive governance.

He was accompanied by elder statesman Mathias Oche, Hon. Emmanuel Ape, Hon. Peter Abraham Oko, and Hon. Clement Agada.
The delegation described Ejembi as a credible, people-focused leader capable of advancing the constituency’s development in the National Assembly.
In his response, Ejembi expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him by the ADC stakeholders, describing their visit as a great honour.
“My political mission is simple — to build a constituency where the welfare of the people is the highest priority,” he assured.
InfoStride News recalls that this development comes just days after the ADC announced the defection of more than 10,000 members from the APC, PDP, SDP and other political parties into its fold in Agatu Local Government Area.
