Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has come out to say that he is 35, but he currently feels like a 27-year-old footballer. He recently revealed that age is just a number in football, and the performance of the player is all that matters.
According to him, he presently feels great and he wants to continue at the highest level because he is still hungry for more.
He added that reaching the quarter-finals of the UCL was very important for Real Madrid, so it is now all about how far the team is willing to go.

“Benzema’s goal came at the right time. It gave us the confidence to keep going.”
“I’m 35 but I feel like I’m only 27. I feel great. You shouldn’t look at the age, it’s all about how we perform on the pitch, regardless of age. I’m still hungry for more, to continue playing at the highest level and I feel great.”

Zidane added, “The double pivot of Modric and [Toni] Kroos was phenomenal tonight.”
“Modric is 35 right? But on the pitch he doesn’t show that. He’s an exceptional player.”
