Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has come out to say that Angola cannot stop Nigeria from progressing to the AFCON semis. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he knows how strong Angola has been in the tournament thus far, the Super Eagles will play with the same intensity and fight like they did in the previous game.
Loookman added that the main objective of going back home with the trophy has not changed.
His words, “We have worked so hard to get to this stage of the competition and we will continue pushing hard to achieve our objective.
The objective for us is to go back home with the trophy. We know we are not there yet, but it is something that is achievable.
We know how strong the Angola team is even before the start of this competition. They have done well here and they have a lot of quality players in their squad.
We will play with the same intensity and fight like we did in the previous game. I don’t see them stopping us.”
