A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Obidike Chukwuebuka, has cautioned Nigerian youths against working against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election, warning that “God would not forgive” such actions.
Speaking on Friday, Obidike praised the administration for what he described as bold appointments, people-oriented reforms, and policies aimed at empowering young Nigerians through job creation and national development.
He described it as “unpatriotic and spiritually dangerous” for any young Nigerian to oppose a President who, according to him, has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the welfare and future of the country’s youths.

“President Tinubu has shown more concern and action for Nigerian youths than any other leader in recent history.
He gave young people real hope, not just in words but through concrete policies and appointments. God will not forgive any youth who, out of ignorance or mischief, decides to sabotage this vision,” he said.
Obidike highlighted the inclusion of young Nigerians in strategic positions as proof of the President’s belief in their capacity and innovation.
Among those he listed were the Minister of Youth Development, Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim; Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande; NASENI Executive Vice Chairman, Khalil Halilu; Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Chairman, Zacch Adedeji; and National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) National Coordinator, Delu Bulus Yakubu.
He also cited youth-focused initiatives such as the Student Loan Act and the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, which aims to equip three million young Nigerians with digital and technological skills by 2027.
Calling on young people to remain patriotic and resist partisan manipulation, the APC chieftain maintained that President Tinubu’s style of governance treats youths as leaders in their own right rather than political tools.
