APC Extends E-Membership Registration, Reschedules Ward Congresses, National Convention

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has extended its electronic membership registration from January 31 to February 8, 2026.

In a statement issued on Friday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the extension was aimed at enabling more supporters and members to register and validate their membership.

Morka disclosed that the party’s Ward Congresses will now hold on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, while the National Convention has been rescheduled for March 27 and 28, 2026.

He added that Osun State, Ekiti State and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, have been excluded from the scheduled congresses due to upcoming elections. He further noted that Rivers State was excluded because of the subsisting tenure of the party’s current executive committees in the state.

“Further details on the adjusted Congress and National Convention timetable and schedule of activities, and composition of the National Convention Planning Committee will be announced in due course,” Morka said.
