Former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Publicity Secretary Yekini Nabena has predicted the party will soon disintegrate.
Nabena warned that the APC could fall apart if its leaders didn’t fix things.
He said this while speculation about who may replace Abdullahi Adamu as the party’s National Chairman continues.

Nabena, in an interview with the media, blamed the party’s flawed structure for the strife inside it.
It’s because their foundation was built on sand, says Nabena; the APC is still at war because of this.
If they don’t change their ways, the party will eventually fall apart.
“They need to get back to the basics; they didn’t have an election; they picked their leaders. No one, not even current party members, is familiar with the party’s guiding principles or constitution.
People can’t get it right because they don’t know what the party is about, as if they were sitting at home and you called them to come and take positions.
When the APC gets back to its roots and lets members vote for the leaders they want, according to Nabena, the party’s problems would be solved.
Similarly to Adamu, he was urged to return donations to the party’s coffers but chose not to comply, he said.
The account is managed by the party’s chairman, secretary, auditor, and treasurer. They need to conduct an audit of the party’s finances and make that information public. Where did all the money the APC made from the sale of forms during the primaries go?
Those that resigned were not given their money back. The party will keep fighting for what’s right, as I mentioned.
Adamu just stepped down as national chairman of the APC.
Indications are that President Bola Tinubu is leaning toward replacing Adamu with Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State.
Salihu Mohammed Lukman, a former APC Vice Chairman of APC (North West), resigned on Wednesday in protest at Ganduje’s selection.
