The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has ridiculed the newly formed opposition coalition, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the party as “drowning in its own confusion” and dismissing its recent allegations against President Bola Tinubu as baseless.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, took aim at the ADC, branding it a coalition of “Nigeria’s most inept politicians” and rejecting claims that the President or the APC was plotting to destabilise the opposition alliance.
“The ADC is drowning in its own confusion and needs no help from our great party to unravel,” Morka said.
The ruling party’s spokesman accused the ADC of projecting its internal rifts onto others instead of addressing its alleged leadership crisis.

“These phantom lies only expose their lack of direction and credibility,” the statement added.
Morka’s comments come as the ADC and its coalition partners continue to position themselves as an alternative to the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, amid internal and external battles over party structures and alliances.
