The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has strongly criticized a prophecy by Primate Ayodele predicting that Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, will lose the 2025 governorship election.
In a recent statement, Primate Ayodele suggested that Soludo would be defeated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) if the party fielded a popular candidate in the upcoming election.
Reacting to this, APGA, represented by its media arm, the APGA Media Warriors Forum, accused Primate Ayodele of misusing God’s name to spread falsehood under the guise of prophecy.

Chinedu Obigwe, the National Coordinator of the forum, asserted that both APGA and Soludo possess significant public support to secure victory in the 2025 governorship election in the state.
In a press release, Obigwe stated, “I urge Primate Ayodele to refrain from misusing the name of God. He appears to be more of a doomsday prophet, and many of his prophecies have not materialized.”
“He resembles what a popular Igbo gospel musician referred to as imitation prophets,” Obigwe added.
Contrary to Primate Ayodele’s prophecy, the forum, as staunch supporters of Governor Soludo, expressed their desire for the mentioned APC chieftain to secure the party’s ticket, as it would allow them to impart a harsh political lesson.
“I assert unequivocally that the APC’s gubernatorial candidate in 2025 provides an easy path for APGA to achieve its goal of winning all 326 wards in Anambra State,” Obigwe emphasized.
He also suggested that Ayodele would be delighted to witness Soludo’s victory next year, attributing it to the governor’s numerous infrastructure projects.
Obigwe challenged Ayodele to name a governor who has achieved as much as Soludo in less than two years in office.
