The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has taken a swipe at the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in the forthcoming Anambra election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, describing him as a man burdened by what it termed “serial indebtedness.”
National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, made the remark in a statement issued on Monday.
He argued that Ukachukwu’s alleged financial troubles had become a recurring embarrassment and a dent on his integrity.

Obigwe specifically referred to a recent incident at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, where Ukachukwu was reportedly confronted by his business partners over outstanding debts.
“This is the second time in recent months that Ukachukwu has been disgraced publicly by those he is owing,” Obigwe said.
“In a viral video, his business partners boldly told him that he cannot be running for governor while still owing people.
For them to block him and his family at Transcorp Hilton, it shows their patience has been exhausted.”
Obigwe maintained that Ukachukwu lacked the credibility to govern Anambra State, warning that his alleged indebtedness could lead him to divert state resources if elected.
“Ukachukwu is a mistake the Anambra electorate must avoid like a leper. He has nothing to offer the people.
His only interest is to use Anambra’s resources to offset his huge debts. God forbid bad things,” he declared.
The APGA spokesperson further recalled an earlier incident in which a man reportedly stripped naked in front of Ukachukwu’s residence, demanding repayment of money allegedly owed to him, while also invoking curses on the APC candidate.
Obigwe insisted that the repeated confrontations were proof that Ukachukwu’s governorship ambition was morally and politically untenable, urging Anambra voters to reject him at the November 8 poll.
